This award was given to Dr. Oberg when she was a senior in Veterinary School. Only one student was chosen to receive this honor from her graduating class. This award was given to her by the American Animal Hospital Association for Clinical Proficiency in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery.

She was presented with this award for outstanding leadership and entrepreneurial spirit as a small business owner. This award was for the hospital she owned and operated in Toms River, NJ prior to moving to Florida.
